Patient Relief Fund People in financial need can now apply to this fund for 1) one-time medical consultation ; Caregiver Respite The Betty Fuller Memorial Fund is now taking applications for caregiver respite. These are short-term grants to give caregivers with financial need a chance to get away to relax and refresh from constant caregiving responsibilities. A professional psychosocial consultation is offered to individuals, couples, and families who are struggling with the symptoms and impact of Parkinson's disease. Whether newly diagnosed, in the early stage of the illness, or a long time sufferer, the psychological and psychosocial challenges may be devastating to an individual or family. Consequently, the Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area, is pleased to offer free consultations with Leon Paparella, MSW, on Wednesday afternoons at the Foundation's office.
