PFNCA and NPF Moving Day November 10, 2013
Moving Day is the collaborative effort of the National Parkinson Foundation (NPF) and the Parkinson Foundation of National Capital Area (PFNCA). This annual event is a day of joining together and raising awareness of Parkinson’s disease. 30,000 people. That number would fill nearly 75% of Nationals Park. In the National Capital Area there are 30,000 people who have been diagnosed with Parkinson Disease. Add to that list the Care partners, Family and Friends and you will fill Nationals Park, FedEx Stadium, Ravens Stadium and Camden Yards .
We will be walking on November 10th at Nationals Park. We will walk with Tammy Darvish, Vice President, Darcars Automotive Group and Andy Feffer, COO of the Washington Nationals. Both have a connection to PD with their fathers. We expect a crowd of 2000 and if you come it will only grow larger.
