Articles From PFNCA Medical Advisory Board
Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area (PFNCA) is committed to its mission that provides education and support programs directly to patients, caregivers and family members. In keeping with the mission and building on our commitment to work with and cooperate with the entire local PD community, PFNCA has created a Medical Advisory Board (“MAB”) to be comprised of prominent practitioners and researchers from the greater National Capital Area including Northern Virginia, the District of Columbia and Maryland (including Baltimore).
This uniquely important group will offer leadership and advice on medical related issues to the PFNCA Board of Directors as identified in the mission of the MAB. Members of this MAB donate their time in order to assure that the PFNCA community is provided with accurate and up-to-date medical information on Parkinson’s Disease and its treatments. In this section you will find articles from the doctors of our Medical Advisory Board.
